Tenkarrdun CraterOnce you're out of the Foundry, you gotta run. This run is not too bad - just like always, strafe left and right to avoid War spells, and hopefully you're still buffed, so the Melee damage will be minimal. If you're not buffed.. well then.. you be dead!
![]() When you reach the middle of the ridge, you may stop. This place is safe. Right in front of you will be the vast Tenkarrdun Crater. Behind you, a beautiful view of the entire Raina's Harbor. Stay here and buff until you're ready to go down into the Crater.
![]() Buff the same way as before... Impenetrability, Bludgeon and Flame Bane on your armor. All Life Protections. At this point in the quest, we were joined by Elder's group, who greatly helped us out. It was kind of an almost movie-like moment, hehe. We descended down into the Crater, avoiding spawns of Plasmas and Fire Elementals on each side. And then, there he was - the Behemoth of Tenkarrdun. He resisted all my spells, of course. In the left shot, you can see Rand al 'Thor taking out the Behemoth! =)
![]() Actually, on my next few trips, I was able to get quite a few spells off on the Behemoth. I managed to get a Magic Yield VI on it, and then the Drains were easy =) Without the Yield.. hard. ![]() And then, the Behemoth was defeated. I was allowed to get the Black Boulder, which you can see more about in the Rewards section. We rejoiced.
![]() After the Behemoth, there was a small spawn of some Plasma and Vapor Golems, along with a later spawn of Hellfires. Kill the Golems first, then the Hellfires. At this point, the "boss" Hellfire will spawn. This one will spurt out an area-wide message when killed - like this one: ![]() When the final Hellfire was killed, the next stage of the quest was activated. Mt. Esper (the Crater) and Mt. Lethe are over-run by fire elementals as well. You get a similar message when the bosses there are killed. Anyway, back to the main point - as you can see in the message above, a small hint is provided - "clacking of petrified bones." At this point, the Relic Town is overrun by many MANY monsters - mostly Relic and Cursed Bones. So, we started running to the town:
![]() And... we kept on running. Yep, that's a LOT of Tuskers!
![]() At last, we were at the Relic Town. On the left, you can see an overhead view of the town. And on the right, it's the portal to Aerfalle Keep. As soon as this portal is opened by one of the dead Relic Bones, the entire quest is reset - that is, the Repair Golem will spawns in the Reservoir (after the 3-hour timer). The portal now spawns on top of one of the hills.
![]() Now... let's take a closer look at the Behemoth himself, before we go on... On to Etrel vs. Behemoth of Tenkarrdun |
