General Run-Down
This section of the page will familiarize you with the Aerlinthe Quest. It is not intended as a walkthrough, but rather as a description of my experience on this quest. You will see spoilers, so you must be willing to take this risk. I'd like to thank Impetuous, who invited me to quest with his group, and also the rest of the company - I won't mention the names, because I know I'll forget someone, but we wouldn't have been able to do it without all of us working together. =) To start off, here's a basic check-list of the things needed to be done in order to accomplish this quest:
- Obtain the Bellows from the bottom of the Crater Caves in Crater (Mount Esper).
- Descend down into the Tenkarrdun Foundry and obtain the Sluice Gate Bar.
- Take the Sluice Gate Bar into Aerlinthe Reservoir and give it to the Repair Golem at the bottom.
- Once again descend down into the Tenkarrdun Foundry (this time, further down) and hand the Bellows to the Smith Golem (it is usually wise to pick up a Sluice Bar on this trip as well, so as to elliminate the second step in the quest).
- Take the outside portal from Tenkarrdun Foundry and run over to the Tenkarrdun Caldera.
- Kill the Behemoth of Tenkarrdun and the Hellfire that follows.
- Head to the Relic Town (the one on the inside of Raina's Harbor) and kill one of the Relic Bones. On death, he will open a portal leading into Aerfalle Keep.
- Plow through the Keep and kill Lady Aerfalle.
- Head to the treasure room in the Keep and loot the chest.
- Get the hell out of the Keep before stuff respawns =).
Now, let's get to the details. I will omit steps one and two, because our group already had the Bellows and the Sluice Bar. So, we headed straight to the Aerlinthe Reservoir...
